The weekend with the nieces and nephews..

Peek -a-boo
So this is actually really late but better late than never. At the end of February Beth and Bj left sunny Arizona and moved back to Wisconsin. So before they left we wanted to make sure we spent some time with Memphis and Amelia. We had a blast. Jordan taught the kids how to play pool. It was adorable. Amelia was so eager to be up there learning. While this all took place we invited My sister over with her girls so the kids could all play. It was very entertaining how they all interacted together. Over all it was a very good night and we enjoyed it very much. We were truly sad to say goodbye.

Our Engagement Story...

Well it all happened on July 2...I was sitting at work when I received a beautiful bouquet of roses from Jordan. I was so surprised! Its not everyday a girl receives beautiful flowers for absolutely no reason. So I instantly called Jordan to thank him, and of course lecture him on how he doesn't have to spend so much money just to show me how much he loves me:) Of course he said not to worry..he wanted to then said how he wanted to start our vacation off on a good note...I then smiled and said ok.

Jordan and I carpool everyday to work. So about the time I was getting off work I texted him quick and asked when he was gonna get here, and of course he responded, "I will be there soon baby." As, I sat there waiting for him to show up, I then noticed a chauffer guy had pulled in the office parking lot, and as the receptionist I just waited for the guy to come inside. Once he came in, he told me he was here to pick someone up, I asked who and he responded with "Kailea". I then was like what..huh..who..and he said my name again..I instantly was so nervous. Finally, we were in the car and I asked the chauffer person where we were headed, he then said our address. I was thinking to myself thats weird..whats going on. lol so I texted Jordan and he pretended he was stuck at work and wasn't able to come pick me up so he called someone to bring me home so I wouldn't have to wait forever at work..

I then called bullshit..but I didn't know what else to think..honestly I didn't want to get my hopes up for a proposal just in case it wasn't one! As we pulled up to our house, I got out and noticed a trail of long stem roses leading up to our front door. I instantly stopped dead, like o crap...this is it! lol I then slowly walked up to the door and opened it..the first thing I heard was our song playing..then I noticed candles lit all over the living room and tons of rose petals on the floor..once the door was opened a little wider there sat Jordan in a nice suit on one knee, holding a open jewlery box. He then whispered, "Will you marry me." With big alligator tears in his eyes and a quivering lip...all I could say was "awww babyyyyyy...." he stood up and we hugged...and kissed..and kissed again...and kissed again...all while we were both crying..we then looked at each other and I said, "of course baby" and he slid the ring on my finger..and we kissed and hugged again.. and said our I love you's...It was the most perfect moment I have ever experienced in my life. I wish I could go back in time and experience that 5 mins of my life over and over again. I am pretty sure I would never get sick of it.

After the proposal we were both so excited and started texting almost everyone in our phones...and called our families. Later that night we went to the Longhorn Bar and Grill where we met and had dinner...It ended up being a very special day and night for us. And of course we both couldnt stop smiling :o)
